In conjunction with this event, M°Degano Maurizio has organized the Kyusho International exams, in full harmony and co-operation. Let's track this event from the beginning; on Saturday morning, with M° Kline, we have dealt with "drills", i.e. some exercise for coordination aimed at gaining some points to be added to those of the K.I. program, while later in the morning it was the turn of M° Degano, who held the exams from the 1st to the 6th level, (for those who didn't know, the 6th level's candidates must repeat all the exams starting from the 1st level) and who guided and stimulated each student's growth. |

Me and my students from the study group (Stefano, Marco and Alex) have passed our exams with excellent results. After the exams these has been some award exchange (we received plaques, and this ceremony was very touching), and finally, in the afternoon, we were very glad to have some grilled meat, polenta, etc..... then we had some drink and we spoke about martial arts in a very friendly and joyful atmosphere, something which is very rare to see among masters of different styles and among people coming from different parts of the world, one thing which is difficult to describe in words. |

The stage which was held on Sunday was for those who practiced Karate and, more precisely, Ryu Kyu, and showed how to extract, from the ancient kata from Okinawa "Naianci", some techniques and applications for kicking various points. I didn't know Kata but anyway it was very interesting anyway, particularly because they explained some universal principles (for martial arts) and it also taught me that I am following the right path with Dynamic's Kung Fu. The stage went on in the afternoon but, due to my family commitments, I could no longer stay, while some of my students stayed until the end and also took part in the Kempo exams. (passed) |

What could I say of Master Kline without being repetitive? He is, as usual, very well technically prepared, he was nicer than before and he also tried to speak our language (Italian). A big thank you to Gianluca Frisan for inviting to these events, and one slap on the back to my first training fellow Alessandro. If I didn't meet him I probably would not be here now. |
